Suite à la motion de censure initiée contre son gouvernement par plus de 300 députés nationaux, une session extraordinaire de l’Assemblée Nationale a adopté cette motion lors de la plénière du mercredi 27 janvier dernier, plénière prévue initialement mardi 26 janvier courant.
Dans un communiqué lu par le Porte-Parole du Premier Ministre le 28 janvier, ce dernier prenait acte de la démarche des députés nationaux élus lors des élections présidentielles de 2018 tout en signifiant qu’il n’a pas été notifié quant à l’adoption de la motion par la chambre basse du parlement.
Il a ensuite signalé qu’il n’attendait que cette notification pour prendre ses responsabilités comme homme d’Etat tenant compte des dispositions de la Constitution quant à ce.
