Rdc-Beni : « Les miliciens maï maï ne sont pas nos ennemis mais ceux qui ne vont pas se rendre aux forces armées seront considérés comme ADF » (Lt Antony Mwalushayi)
« Les miliciens maï maï ne sont pas nos ennemis et d’ailleurs ce qui nous uni tous nous sommes des congolais ». Propos du porte-parole des opérations militaires Sokola 1 Grand Nord, Lieutenant Antony Mwalushayi ce Lundi 07 Décembre 2020 à Oïcha, chef lieu du territoire de Beni.
Il l’a dit devant la presse locale, après une rencontre qui a réuni certains miliciens maï maï et le commandant des opérations Sokola 1 Grand Nord dans le cadre du processus de reddition des groupes armés qui insécurisent la région du Nord-Kivu.
« Vous savez, on peut tout faire pour trouver la paix, les maï maï ne sont pas nos ennemis et d’ailleurs ce qui nous uni tous, nous sommes congolais et ils sont différents des ADF. Mais au moment où ils continuent à détenir des armes à feu nous allions les assimiler comme les ADF parce que les maï maï qui aiment la paix ont accepté de suivre les processus de désarmement », a déclaré Antony Mwalushayi.
Cependant, il a lancé un appel aux miliciens qui traînent le pas dans la brousse avec les armes de se rendre à l’armée pour qu’ils ne puissent pas subir le feu des éléments des Forces Armées de la République Démocratique du Congo (FARDC).
